Very seldom over the years have I ever commented on service–now is the
time.
I had some water damage at my house recently and restoration company Wascana
was called on to take care of it.
They arrived promptly and went to work assessing the damage. Extractors and
dryers were quickly up and running in all rooms.
When some of the drywall had to be removed they continued the drying process
to ensure that I would no future problems.
All the sub trades were supervised by Wascana–carpet plumbing etc..
I am happy to report that everything looks new again–great job. All of this
occurred over the holidays and they were cheerfully there alleviating my
concerns.

“We were first introduced to Wascana Restoration back in 2001, when our townhome flooded. Our Strata called in a restoration service and Wascana was the company that came out. They responded with professional know how and our home was quickly dried out repaired back to brand new, you would have never known there was a big hole in the ceiling.
So in the summer of 2009 when we were struggling to find a source of a leak in our master bathroom, which was ruining our dining room ceiling (for 3 years, our builder, several plumbers, contractors couldn’t seem to find or repair it, as it kept re-leaking again and again and we just seemed to be getting a run around; like quick fixes and we were getting more and more frustrated). We called Trent from Wascana to assist us, Trent came out immediately to help.
Not only did he find the source of the leak immediately, he found that the leak had actually invaded more than what our builder had said was damaged and told us he (the builder) was going to repair. Actually allot more. Had we not brought in Wascana to investigate, we would have had a Band-Aid repair job and had such extensive unrepaired/unseen damage and mould spreading in our home that eventually our future repairs would have been so astronomical and structural we may not have been able to afford the cost to repair them.
Furthermore, since the builder had done his part on the repairs earlier and signed off, how would we have proved the new damage was from the earlier leak and tied to that new (old) damage? So the cost would have been ours to pay. But Wascana saved us from that and saved our families health too, and our builder has been a good and decent builder who paid for all the repairs.
Not only was there damage but there was some mould issues tool. Wascana knew how to treat it as well, it was limited, thankgoodness. But It did effect us, as we were always sick for 2 3/4 years always with something. Now since the repairs we have had no colds, no infected sinuses, my kids don’t have constant runny noses, my husband’s asthma is better, and the house is warmer. All these things because Wascana came out on a one little inspection.
We were so lucky to have had Wascana on our side and here for our family. We can’t say enough or thank them enough about their service.
P.S. Roger and the fellows and all the other trade guys that came in here have been nothing but the nicest group of gentlemen. This has been a semi-long repair, they come to our home all the time, they always call us Mr. & Mrs. Larson and they respect our home. They are never late and we never hear any language other than polite talk from them. Their professionalism cannot be beat. They have never left the home untidy and clean up as they go, you would never know they were here. We trusted them and have left them here as we go to go pick up our children from school and go run errands. We have never had any second thoughts or worries with the guys and I felt comfortable with their company as a women in the home with them. Their quality of workmanship is outstanding.
