What do you charge to inspect a possible water damage situation?
We do not have a minimum charge per se if the strata or apartment becomes a regular customer. We rarely charge to do an inspection unless work is required to determine the extent of the damage. If you call us out on an evening or weekend, charges will apply.
What do you charge to do an infrared scan?
If you are specifically asking for us to go out to do a scan (ie. to try and locate a leak) a minimum charge of $150.00 would apply. If we are doing emergency work and we choose to scan the affected area, we would rarely charge for that.
What size of water damage losses can you handle?
It is not so much the size of the job, but the number of contents that need to be handled in order to do the job. In 2009, our largest water damage drying job involved over 80 pieces of drying equipment, with 9 suites involved. All suites were vacant at the time, however.
Which service do you consider yourselves to be the best at?
We have always considered water damage to be our strength. Some of the equipment we have acquired and the expertise we have developed over the years is with water damage restoration. Having said that, we are very willing to look at small fire losses, impact and wind damage as well.
